Deuxième journée des trois du National Jazz & Blues Festival, Kempton Park Rececourse, Sunbury.
Sur scène, Ginger Baker et son professeur l'anglais batteur de Jazz Phil Seamen (1926 – 1972) se livrent à un duo de batterie.
Venu de l'ombre, dos à la foule un guitariste aux cheveux longs branche sa Gibson Firebird sur un Marshall. Le bruit court que c'est Eric Clapton qui improvise sur un mélange de Jazz et de Blues, puis il est présenté et le public s'enflamme. Le set durera 30 minutes.
