USA For Africa - We Are The World ·

Live Aid était un concert organisé par Bob Geldof et Midge Hure, au Wembley Stadium de Londres et au John F. Kennedy Stadium de Philadelphie. Après avoir joué au stade de Wembley Phil Collins prend le Concorde qui l'emmène à Philadelphie.
Au Royaume-Uni la BBC diffuse le concert. Aux États-Unis, c'est sur ABC TV et MTV que les téléspectateurs peuvent suivre le concert en direct.
L'ensemble est diffusé à la radio par BBC Radio 1 et ABC Radio.
En France le 9 Août 1985 la revue VSD publie un numéro hors série (devenu collector) de près de cent pages grand format entièrement consacré au Live Aid (Band Aid – Le Concert) De nombreuses photos illustres plusieurs articles et interviews.
